"Religion and Freedom of Expression" was the theme of the Conference Conscience and Liberty 2023, organized by AIDLR - International Association for the Defense of Religious Liberty, an NGO with headquarters in Bern and official representation in Brussels, and hosted by the prestigious Portuguese institution Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.


Mr Adama Dieng is the President of the Honorary Committee of the AIDLR.


Mr Mario Brito is the current President of the AIDLR.


Mr Paulo Macedo is the current Secretary-General of the AIDLR.


Dr Ibrahim Salama is the Chief of the Human Rights Treaties Branch of UNOHCHR.


Prof Ghanea is the current UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief.


Prof Dr Maoz is the Vice-President of the Honorary Committee of the AIDLR.


Dr Ganoune Diop is the Secretary-General of IRLA and SDA Church Public Affairs & Religious Liberty Director, he is also member of the AIDLR´s Honorary Committee.
